custom wooden corset

Completed 3D scan of upper body for SolidWorks model of plywood pieces cut by the CNC machine (3D scan + CAD modeling by USC IYA professors). Glued the wood strips together before sanding the piece by hand and belt sander. Finished with wax seal.

acrylic chest piece

Designed in Adobe Illustrator, cut using laser cutter, shaped to custom plaster mold of upper body using a torch, finished with ribbon. Translates to “Alizeh” in Farsi.

brass chest plate & jewelry

Designed in Adobe Illustrator, brass cut by WaterJet, polished, and finished with clear sealant to prevent rusting.

wet molded leather corset

Cut leather to size, soaked in cool water, hand-formed fabric to custom plaster mold and secured to dry. Finished with silver grommets and ribbon for the corset lace-up back.

acrylic bra piece

Same process as red acrylic top with resin orchid. “Persian Princess” in Farsi.

tie mini skirt

Thrifted ties sewn together. Includes side zipper and tie belt loops.

security tag “sticky fingers” top

Clothing security tags woven together. Metal wire secures top around neck and back in cowl halter style.

Stripped an old boot to its sole, embellished with black velvet, red and gold trim, and satin ribbon. Constructed a custom toe cover using a plastic bag and duct tape then cut to be flat and traced in Adobe Illustrator. Added detail to the cover’s design, cut onto brass via WaterJet. After molding and attaching the brass to the sole, added lining and filled its design with red glitter resin. Final shoe sits upon red organza.
